Bias Cut!!!

When referring to clothing have you heard the term "bias cut"?
Sometimes when I speak with our clients, they I can see the question in their faces.

What is bias cut??

The "bias-cut" is a technique Anglo Couture uses for cutting fabric in a 45 degree angle to get more stretch. The bias or diagonal direction of the fabric, helps to accentuate body lines and curves and drape softly with out the use of darts, that create a more structured look.

I love cutting in bias as the garments turn out more natural and less "stiff".

However the one part that's negative by cutting in bias, is that you loose length. That's why it's not the most ideal cut for longer gowns!

Tampa Bridal Showcase by CSE photography!

As I mentioned last week our gowns were featured at the Tampa Bridal showcase this past Sunday!
The show was a huge success and besides meeting lots of new brides-to-be and vendors, we got to see some of our favorite vendors.
Brides seemed to be enjoying themselves with great food and drinks as they chatted with all the vendors.Here is a small taste captured by CSE photography!
