The love of my life!!

We moved to Florida five years ago. Our plans were to have fun and enjoy the sun since we have been living in blizzard conditions for 9 years. Although I love the culture and beauty of historic Boston, the Florida weather made me love our move. As we settled in our home and started to get familiar with the area, I got really sick and had to go to the emergency room. While I thought I was dying, the nurse looked at me and said " Honey!! Congratulations you are pregnant". I was in shock, as a planner in life this was not in my book. However we got really excited. Started planning a nursery and our family giving us a huge baby shower back in Boston. The time for the baby was almost here.

When George arrived it was truly the happiest moment in my life. He was the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. It was love at first sight!

This was nearly 3 years ago and I can't believe how our lives have changed. He teaches me something everyday and I feel like my life would not be complete with out him. From his first steps to his first words and using the potty. I get so excited. Even if I'm having the worst day he puts a smile in my face. If I feel sick he kisses my boo boo and asks "you feel better mommy."
And although, I can't take some stains of the carpet and that my manicures only last a day. I wouldn't change it for the world.

To the best surprise and love of my life, Happy 3rd Birthday Georgie, love mommy.

A fun way to capture memories!!!

As I made my tea this morning, I looked at my fridge and I have about 20 photo strips from shutterbooth on the left side of it. Shutterbooth is a modern style photo booth that will spark fun and brake the ice at any event. But most importantly it will capture the memories that you will put on your fridge or pin on your desk to get you to smile in during a random time of the day.

Every time that shutterbooth is at an event I'm always looking for an opportunity to gather everyone and get in. Someone asked me once "aren't you tired of it yet"?? And I said NO! Because every time is different, different mood, different moment, different props, 20 different memories.

To top it all off not only shutterbooth looks elegant and fun, but it's operated by fun and energetic staff. Monique and Tyrus are so passionate about Shutterbooth that they work all the events they can themselves.

Thank you Shutterbooth for making my morning today!!!

My Favorite Latte!!!!

Everyone has a favorite Latte. I didn't have one until I tried Cafe ala Carte's!
It was about a year ago that I tried a regular latte, all I can say is that I got hooked. The rich taste of cafe ala carte's coffe and all the different flavors you can add to your latte will blow you away.
My most favorite is the white chocolate almond latte! Cafe ala carte served the "Anglo" latte at our debut fashion show. Besides my favorite latte, I also have a favorite barista, Jenn. Jenn just has the best smile, her positive energy and welcoming manor makes you want to go by Cafe ala carte's bar and say hello every time. I'm privileged to be able to drink my favorite latte at various industry events...but what I'm most privileged about is to have met Diana owner of cafe ala carte and be able call her my friend:)

Mmmmmmmmm! Chic Sweets!!!

We were so lucky to have Chic Sweets Cater a desert buffet for our debut Fashion Show!!! Natalie is so creative. She asked me what I was looking for, and I just told her to surprise me. Did she ever!!! The Chic Sweets table looked like an art display of deliciousness. The linens she chose matched our decor perfectly. Natalie used beautiful displays filled with white chocolate covered pretzels and gumballs. The table included delicious cookies with the Anglo Couture Logo printed in perfection. Cake pops which were the most favorite desert of the night. White colored chocolate M & M's. I have never seen a desert buffet more elegant and high end like the one Chic Sweets created. These photo have to sweeten your day today....Thank you Chic Sweets!!

Anglo Couture Fashion Show Slide show!!

I have dreamed of this happening my entire life. I always knew that this is what I wanted to do, but I kept on thinking this is not the right time. This past May, I told myself it is now or never and this is how the Anglo Couture journey began. They were different obstacles in the way, small things like resourcing the right materials and finding the right employees that understood my vision, etc. Everything just started happening and as Anglo Couture still has a long way to go, I must say that I'm still in shock of how it has all worked out so far. As I was in the production phase of the fall collection, I started meeting all these great different vendors in the local area. I have to say that these talented and amazing people are the ones that kept me going. I had the opportunity to host a debut fashion show of the Anglo Couture collection but it wouldn't happen with out the support and help of the listed vendors which I now have the pleasure to call my friends. Enjoy the slide show.THANK YOU!!!!
