Your "best friend" should be a part of bridal party!!

They are like children to some and best friends to others.

So why not be a part of your bridal party on your most special day.

Every time we shoot our new accessories we always experiment with Abita Carrie's dog.

We always try on some of the accessories and veils.

I was browsing through some of our photos the other day and stumble upon these fun shots.

If you accessorize you puppy, why not make them a part of your wedding day?

Who knows maybe we will come up with a bridal attire line for dogs!
For now enjoy the photos:)

The myth that you are getting a good deal when buying a sample Wedding Gown.

carrie wildes photography

We often get calls and referrals for brides that have bought a sample gown and are devastated because they can't fit it right or it has been altered the wrong way, it's discolored or they want to redesign the entire gown.

Some times buying a sample gown is a great way to save money but most of the times it's more costly.

How is that possible ???

By the time you have the gown cleaned altered, pressed and fix all the little details that are worn out from being a floor sample, you can probably buy or even design a brand new wedding gown.

In my opinion if you are buying a floor sample, make sure that it's in good condition, it fits you and needs minimal alterations. Depending on the design and fullness of the gown, the dry cleaning cost could be very high as well.

Before you commit in buying a sample floor gown, do some research, try on different gowns at different shops and find out all the approximate costs involved. That way you will be making an educated purchase and will not have to deal with all that stress.

Remember that your wedding gown is one of the most important outfits you will ever wear and will be in your photos and memories forever.

That's why it needs to be perfect and timeless.

Blog Love: Maria

Love blog from Maria:

" Vicky,

I hope you had a great memorial day weekend! I wanted to write you a note to say thank you (thank you, thank you!) for your help with my wedding gown.

You were such a pleasure to work with, and your seamstress is a magician - everything was perfect and I would like her to know how much I appreciated her intricate work, too! I got so many compliments on the gown and attribute it to you both. Thank you for going out of your way.
The collar, the train, the cups, the buttons... you name it. It was all perfect, and I felt so pretty in it :)
I would like to send you the real (professional photos) when we get them, but this is all we have for now - some taken by the audience. Please let your seamstress know that I was more than happy with everything - I will highly recommend you for wedding gown making if any friends are in need of a dress

Thank you again.
Maria "
